Meet The Teacher

I thought that introductions would be appropriate as we begin this new school year and since we have high hopes that many will stop by to check out our blog I wanted to introduce myself at the start. My name is Nancy Smith and I've been teaching at Livingston Central for 15 years. I'm originally from Muhlenburg County, Ky. I grew up in the small town of Bremen. I attended Western Kentucky University where I recieved both my Bachelors and Masters Degrees. I'm proud to be a Hilltopper!! I'm currently working on my Rank I at Murray State. I'm working toward an Endorsement in Environmental Education. I have three grown children and two cats named Socks and Millie. I love to travel and while on my journeys I like to take tons of photos. At Livingston Central I am the sponsor of the LCHS Art Club, FCA and Co-sponsor of the Student Council. I'm very active in my church which is in Paducah, Ky. I've been a member there for 8 years. It's going to be an exciting year and I hope you stop by often to check out what's going on with the Art Classes at LCHS!
