This summer I had the priveledge of attending the Advanced Summer Institute at LBL. We spent a week participating in a wide variety of activities that helped us to learn how to be better stewards of our environment and also how to teach our students to know and understand what is happening to our environment and what they themselves can do to keep our planet healthy. One activity that I was able to be involved in was Oil Painting. It was wonderful to work with this medium again after many years of painting with acrylic. Here is an example of my work completed.
